The Marine City Water Works is dedicated to providing the Community with and abundant supply of safe, pure, drinking water.
We shall strive to maintain high standards both as individuals and as a department.

PROFILE :

 

 

The Marine City Water Works is a 2 MGD (Million Gallons a Day) municipally owned conventional surface water treatment water plant that was constructed in 1936 . We serve approx. 6500 citizens in the Marine City Michigan area . We are located along the St. Clair River between Detroit and Port Huron Michigan and border Canada . This facility was designated as an American Water Works Association Historic Water Landmark in 1992. Considering the overall excellent condition of the structures and equipment, the high quality of the finished water produced, the available capacity, the modern lab and staff, it appears that the Marine City Water Works will continue to provide and abundant supply of safe, pure, drinking water for many more years to come.
