Police Department

The Marine City Police Department is currently staffed with nine(9) full-time employees: the Chief of Police; seven(7) patrolmen; and one Office Clerk, The administration of the Department is preformed by the Chief of Police. In his absence the next in command is a sergeant.

With the staffing level the Department provides a minimum of one(1) patrol officer per twelve(12) hour shift, providing 24 hour coverage 365 days of the year. Every effort is made to provide two(2) man coverage whenever possible. During the day shift, and when necessary, The Police Chief doubles as a patrolman. The Department also provides a Drug Abuse Resistance Education Program.
